Mantras are a practice of Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound. Everything has a vibration and frequency. Sound, and especially mantra, is incredibly healing. When you chant mantra you cleanse your subtle body, align your frequency with divine source & create new pathways in the body & mind through which energy can flow. *Keep in mind, the best way to work with mantra is to choose one you resonate with first. Create a 40-day sadhana (spiritual practice) where you repeat the mantra 108 times. Use a mala to keep count & stay dedicated. It’s ideal to do this practice at the same time everyday, but not necessary. Most important is that you repeat it 108 times everyday for 40 days in a row. If you miss a day, start over. Take note of the subtle changes that happen during your sadhana & how the mantra is working in your life. This is a great way to build discipline, or tapas, and a powerful way to bring a spiritual practice into your life
